Whether you are a beginner or accomplished faux finisher, decorative painter, mural or trompe l'oeil artist, stenciler, decorative plasterer or decorative furniture finisher this event is just for you!
Decorative finishing and faux painting have been around for centuries and used today for many interior design projects, however recognition for beginners and professionals who have accomplished commissions that deserve to be noticed is rare. The Faux Finish Institute would like to invite you to an educational experience and award ceremony designed to give those involved in this industry a chance to be rewarded!
The Fauxcademy of Decorative Finish Awards is a four-day event held at the Wyndham Reach Resort in Key West Florida. The event is filled with educational seminars that are exclusively geared towards the decorative finish industry. Hands on seminars and lectures from some of the nations leading faux finishers, decorative painters, mural and trompe l'oeil artists, Venetian plaster finishers, and marketing and business professionals are available to enhance your knowledge in the industry. A series of Master Mind Groups have been developed for you and fellow faux and decorative finish artists from all over the country to come together and brainstorm the best ideas in the faux finish and decorative painting industry.
The awards dinner is an evening of glamour as those that have submitted projects in each of the different categories are recognized for their accomplishments and the winner of each category is presented with the top honor Fauxcademy of Decorative Finish Award .
Last but not least are the recreational events that are scheduled to make this one of the most enjoyable and educational experiences you could ever encounter.
